Chief Secretary reviews progress of AIIMS project | KNO

JAMMU, MARCH 08 (KNO) : Chief Secretary, B B Vyas Thursday reviewed the progress of work on the prestigious AIIMS projects coming up at Samba and Awantipora.

Principal Secretary, Health & Medical Education, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Administrative Secretaries of the departments of Power Development, PW(R&B), PHE, Forests, Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir, Divisional Commissioner, Jammu and other senior officers attended the meeting. Status in regard to handing over of land to the CPWD, provision of water supply, electricity supply, connecting roads and fencing was reviewed in the meeting. Chief Secretary emphasized on expeditious completion of all the critical works for start of main construction on the projects by the CPWD.

He asked Principal Secretary, Health & Medical Education to periodically review and monitor the progress with the concerned departments.(KNO)
